David Jones is one of Australia's and the world's oldest department stores, with a proud history of delivering Australia's premium shopping destination housing the world's most sought-after brands.

David Jones first opened its doors in 1838 and has since become an iconic part of the Australian retail landscape offering customers a range of products and services across beauty, fashion, food, technology and homewares.

Over the next 24 months, the David Jones Chatswood store will undergo a future-fit transformation to become a destination that truly inspires. Commencing in January 2024 we will move all operations to the Ground floor. All departments will then relocate to Level 1 from October 2024 with the completely refurbished store reopening on Level 1 and Ground Floor in late 2025.

During this time there may be some interruptions to your usual shopping experience including a reduced range of brands and services. We will continue to offer Click and Collect and Beauty Services but our Prosthesis fitting services and styling suite will not be operational.
